I love this sewing machine. It sews beautifully. It is lightweight. The carrying handle makes it easy to transport. The instruction manual is well-written. It is such a good machine for a beginner. The presser feet snap on and off. Wow, so easy to change the feet. I'm obsessed with the automatic needle threader. I struggled at first, but kept practicing. Soon it became like second nature using the needle threader. I followed the manual and practiced many stitches. Single and zigzag stitches look great. The thread cutter is a game changer. These two items make sewing a breeze. I wish the presser foot was metal. It's cheap lightweight plastic. In order to keep it from sliding on the floor, I have to put a computer mouse pad underneath it. Just as stated in other reviews, no cover included. If you have the opportunity, purchase a warranty. I had a problem taking the bobbin out of the bobbin casing. This machine is not listed on the Janome website. No luck finding a solution from Janome. It was so frustrating. Fortunately, I fixed it. Because the machine was not purchased through an authorized dealer, the Janome warranty is VOID. WHAT!!! I've deducted one star because they should be transparent about the warranty.
