A beach hut is a small, usually wooden, and often brightly colored structure built above the high tide mark on popular bathing beaches generally used for storage, as a shelter and for changing into and out of bathing suits. Some beach huts incorporate simple facilities for preparing food and hot drinks. Brighton Beach Huts Birdhouse features none of the above! It does, however, feature three side-by-side nest boxes in red, white and aqua adorned with life preservers on each end. Included are beach pennants and an orange-beaked gull to decorate the roofs. Avian residents will appreciate the unpainted interiors complete with drainage and ventilation. Openings will allow wrens, finches, chickadees, and nuthatches to nest. This product is based on the historic Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse which is located at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. The Maryland and DC area icon, built-in 1875, and now unmanned, the automated lighthouse remains an active weather station and navigational aid.

The lighthouse birdhouse is a spot-on replica of the famous located at the easternmost point of Long Island, New York. The construction of the lighthouse was authorized by none other than President George Washington and bears the distinction of being the first public works project of the United States. The (in) famous pirate Captain Kidd is said to have buried treasure at the foot of the lighthouse, but it's yet to be found. This red and white lighthouse is a fully functional birdhouse featuring two nest boxes with openings, a removable back for yearly cleaning, drainage, ventilation, and unpainted interiors. The entire structure is built upon a river stone foundation and a custom-fit mounting plate makes installation a snap!

I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works.
