Our can racks are made of durable metal construction. Structural heavy steel avoids deformation of the can organizer. This works great for organizing our pantry. Double check your measurements - it wouldn't fit in any of our kitchen cabinets because there are shelves in the back of the cabinets. We put it on the floor of our pantry and had to lift the lowest shelf to make it fit under the shelf. We keep smaller cans on that top shelf since it's a snug fit.
