When you are ready to harvest your honey, you must "uncap" the honeycomb cells that have been capped off with a wax lid by bees. Honey Keeper’s uncapping knife is the perfect tool to remove the wax cap so you can extract the honey from the beehive without damaging the honeycombs. This uncapping knife has a double-sided serrated blade that can slice through substances with thick outer surfaces, like wax, even if the teeth and gullets become dull. The serrated edges are thinner and slice better than plain blades, giving you better control. The blade is made of high-quality stainless steel to help retain the teeth’s sharp edges and gullets. This metal will not scratch, bend, or break over time and is easy to maintain and clean.
