Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Bit loud on low speed but think it's bcs it's so long. I don't mind. And it does a fantastic job of sucking up garlic or onion smells! Love the sleek look, baffles easy to remove and wash. This hood has great exhaust on the highest level and quiet enough for conversation on the levels 1-3. After shutting the fan off, it will run for an additional minute to remove any residual smells, and that works great as you don’t have to go back over during the middle of your meal to turn it off. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him.
