The locksmith came to install the lock and we discovered that two of the four batteries that came with the unit were dead. I called Wayfair's great customer service folks, who are sending out four fresh batteries. Normally this would not be an issue but I have never seen these batteries before. They are CR 123A 3V lithium batteries. In researching these, the internet says the batteries should have a 10-year shelf life, I don't know why they would be dead. The lock seems sturdy and very well made. I have three other keypad locks that take AA batteries and I am constantly replacing them. When I get power on the lock I will update my review.. Brenda. When I first receive my order the frame was broken and Wayfair wanted to give me a 25.00 discount for a picture that was 170.00 dollars make no sense. I put this on my Christmas wish-list and Santa obliged me with two of them. I installed the first one on my back door. Everything went well and I was up and running in about 20 minutes, But, as I fiddled around with it I was somewhat disappointed to learn that the overall functionality is average. I did not read too many of the reviews, although it was recommended in its category. It works with my smart home hub, which is a lesser known company but fits well with my idea of a smart home system. But I was disappointed to learn that I could only lock/unlock the deadbolt lock. I could not find out which code was used to manually open the door nor could I set up any lock codes through the hub. The reality is that I didn't do enough research. This is a great looking foosball table and I know we will enjoy playing on it. There were a couple of issues with the condition of the table we discovered during assembly. Luckily, they weren’t big enough issues to send it back because putting the table together was very labor intensive and once you start you certainly don’t want to have to disassemble it! It took my husband and me three hours to assemble it from start to finish. There is a marred spot on the white lines on the green playing surface and one of the “wood” leg covers has a crack - that fortunately only shows on the inside of the table legs.. Cindy.
