I wanted a sleek modern aesthetic with room for two, this unit fit the bill. I needed adjustable feet so that I could get water to flow underneath the tub in a wet room, that was another yes here. I had a really specific wish list, and this thing met it all! We're still in the middle of install, but the quality of this unit appears very promising. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
