I installed two of these doors in a recent bathroom remodel and am very happy with them. They look great and were fairly easy to build. One piece on one of the doors required light sanding to make it fit with into the pre-cut holes but otherwise no issues. Two notes: 1. There is a strong odor at unboxing. I recommend building these outside, if possible, and definitely leaving outside for a few days to off-gas before installing on an interior project. I left them on my balcony. 2. They do not come with tracks/rails or hardware. Those must be ordered seperately.. Kristin. South Pasadena, CA. Sun Aug 02 2026

Unfortunately, this product doesn’t come with all of the parts that are needed to install the door. On top of that it also isn’t associated with the link to let you know if you need to buy additional parts. This is very upsetting and frustrating.. Heather. Naples, FL. Mon Jul 20 2026

Homer aims to provide the best value products and services to save your time and money when you think of installing a sliding door at your home! Only the hardware is for sale, doors are not included. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden walls/drywall. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send us a message asking for specialized bolts. Their product is compatible with a door. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact us for the correct length of the bolts for the hangers. Please notify us to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board. You need to have at least 6" of space between the top of the door to the ceiling to accommodate the hardware. They use two hangers to hold one door. For a single door kit, there will be two hangers in the package. For a double door kit, there will be four hangers. If you have a door that is either too wide or too heavy, then you can purchase additional hangers for that door.

My contractor was not impressed and told me, that next time we need a barn door, he could just make one for me that was better quality and less-expensive. This one was a bit flimsy. I got the stained door and the color was nice, rustic, fit my purposes.. Laurie. Mooresville, NC. Sat Apr 02 2022
