These were easy to install. Really easier than the old-style can lights. The light is very even. I have them on a dimmer switch and have had no problems with it. The stainless steel trim pieces are held in place by tabs. I bent the tabs with my fingers because I didn't want to damage the fixture with pliers. They were hard to bend.
