Higher CRI ratings indicate how natural the colors look under the light. This product has a high CRI index of 90. That was a critical factor, because, many manufacturers do not list that specifications likely because of lower ratings, which result in less than desirable color accuracy. Once installed, I set each one to a different light, picked out the one I liked best and set all to the same lumens at the junction box. I liked how easy the have been to install even though I was replacing old can lights with those bulky boxes in the ceiling.
