The six-month encampment of General George Washington’s Continental Army at Valley Forge in the winter of 1777-1778 was a major turning point in the American Revolutionary War. While conditions were notoriously cold and harsh and provisions were in short supply, it was at the winter camp where George Washington proved his mettle, and whipped his troops into some semblance of a fighting force.

I'm very disappointed by this print. I really don't like it. Raphael painted his "School of Athens" on a large wall in the Vatican. A good print should contain only the painting, only the center of the wall, like the graphic I attach here. But this print I was shipped, includes far too much of the wall outside the painting. It includes so much wall around the sides of the painting, that you can not even see the faces of Plato and Aristotle in the center. Raphael's painting is about people's faces showing their ideas.
