Beautiful light and much brighter than I expected with 60 watt equivalent led bulbs. Even had to get a dimmer switch to make it less bright. It was definitely more challenging since we had to install on a 17-foot ceiling and that required a 14-foot dual stepladder. But overall very happy with it. These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. So grateful I learned about it from functional mold specialists who know what type of purifiers truly work for those exposed to a moldy home. Hard to believe that such a machine not only runs so quietly (almost as if it isn't on at all), but even 1 purifier is enough to make such a strong impact on the air quality throughout my 1200 sq. ft. home even though it's been placed in the master bedroom where the worst mold is located. My symptoms relating to my mycotoxin illness (primarily headaches, brain fog, joint pains, & sleep difficulties) from mold exposure have begun to diminish in a short time. The compact feature of this unit is great and it did not produce any notable scent and some brands do. I bought this because as an insurance policy for my new building space after being exposed to mold previously. Well it turned out to be a great idea because just a few weeks later mold in the new space was revealed.
