So I make egg bites in the oven using cupcake molds and they come out very light and fluffy but it is a lot of work having to empty the oven heat it up cook and put stuff back in the over after so I decided to buy this because it looks super easy to use. it is very easy to use you take two of the little holders fill them with water and put water on the plate and then fill the holders with your egg mix and close it and you’re supposed to leave them till the water is evaporated. It works great it’s very easy. My only complaint is the egg bites are not light and fluffy like they are in the oven and I think that’s because they’re steamed I’ve put a picture of one after it’s been refrigerated And it’s definitely different than in the oven but the egg maker itself works great. I just need to get used to the difference between the oven and then steaming them more or less with this egg bite maker. This does make it so much easier to make breakfast in the morning as opposed to the night before when I use the oven. The cleanup is a breeze, and it is definitely much easier than the oven.. Martha. Love this mini chopper. Bought because my old faithful mini chopper (different brand) which has served me for many years, finally decided to call it quits, by literally going up in smoke. The minute I plugged it in smoke started coming out of it, and that was the end of the road for old faithful. Needless to say, I was back on the market looking for replacement (ironically, just before I plugged in my old faithful and the smoke, a thought had just come to my head, about replacement and seeing the smoke was the weirdest incident.) So looked around, and this one seemed similar to my old faithful, and loved the few ratings that were listed for this item, hence I ordered it. I only used it once prior to this review, chopped garlic and ginger. I would say it did an excellent job of chopping it to the consistency that I wanted, it didn’t make it mushy, it was a perfect chop. It was relatively efficient and somewhat quieter than my old one, but still as loud as a chopper is expected to be. Cleaning it is easy, and small and compact for storage. The material seems to be somewhat lighter than my old one, but everything is built in such a way nowadays. Overall I am happy with it, and hopefully will get many years of use out of it.. Eg. I took a long time to do this review because I wanted to actually make baby food in it for my grandson, and he just started solids! The steamer works great, cooked perfectly. I had my butternut squash in one inch cubes before I read the instructions, so I had to cut them down to 1cm per instructions. That was a bummer. I almost took a star away for that, but the blending was so smooth and effortless that I actually love this little thing and give it 5 stars. Can’t wait to make more food for my grandson. As mentioned by another reviewer, there are not bottle warning instructions. I would put the bottle in the steamer basket and check it after a few minutes.
