THIS tub replaced one of those horrible, huge, tubs with all the jets that builders put in homes in the 1990s. I gutted my master bath and more than doubled the size of my shower, and had this beauty installed. I wish I had considered the placement of the freestanding water faucet while the plumber was in the deep hole he had to dig to move pipes around....I placed the tub with the little lip under the faucet so some water splatters on the wall.......that was MY mistake so just a suggestion for when you put your tub in. I am used to one of the type tubs that goes in a corner with wall on 3 sides..........long and low. THIS is short and deep. Perfect soaking tub. I am 5'1 so I actually can sit and extend my legs straight out but anyone taller will have their knees up. Even so, a little water comes up on your body giving you an amazing soak. I was so nervous about buying a tub online but I'm so glad we did. It arrived in perfect condition and looks just like the pics. My contractor said it was a piece of cake to install. We ended up putting the filler at the corner of the tub so it's more out of the way. It looks pretty stunning in our bathroom and is roomy and deep for one person. We've had ours about 6 months and have used it frequently, often bathing our 3 young kids in it at once; it's very durable and looks just as beautiful as the day we got it.
