This hand knotted wool Arts & Crafts Oushak-style rug takes a generous botanical vocabulary and places it across a soft mint and gray field, giving the overall design a lighter and more luminous character. Large palmette forms, scrolling acanthus, and open floral sprays move across the field in maroon, teal, forest green, gold, and ivory. The slightly abstracted lines give the design an open, relaxed appearance, while the mint ground keeps the palette cool and airy. Warmer maroon and gold accents create contrast and help hold the composition together. The ivory border carries a restrained floral repeat that frames the field without competing with the large central motifs. Hand knotted construction allows the color transitions and motif details to appear clear and controlled across the surface. This rug is well suited for interiors that need traditional pattern with a softer, fresher color direction. The overall presentation keeps the focus on color, texture, construction, and pattern, making the description suitable for marketplace listing while still preserving the detailed design language of the original piece.

Hand Knotted Silk Rugs are second to none when it comes to quality. Silk fibers are much thinner allowing our weavers to maximum the knots per square inch in a rug. This will escalate the labor as well as material in the rug. These traits along with the cost of silk make hand knotted silk rugs some of the most expensive rugs in the world.

This tribal Kilim rug is handwoven in Pakistan with all wool on a wool foundation. This rug is new and in excellent condition. Kilims are flat tapestry-woven carpets or rugs produced in many of the countries where hand-knotted rugs are made. Kilims can be purely decorative or can function as prayer rugs and are very popular as floor coverings. Kilims are produced by tightly interweaving the warp and weft strands of the weave to produce a flat surface with no pile. Kilim weaves are tapestry weaves technically weft-faced plain weaves. When the end of a color boundary is reached, the weft yarn is wound back from the boundary point. Thus, if the boundary of a field is a straight vertical line, vertical slit forms between the two different color areas where they meet. For this reason, most Kilims can be classed as āslit wovenā textiles. The slits are beloved by collectors, as they produce very sharp-etched designs, emphasizing the geometry of the weave. The weft strands, which carry the visible design and color, are almost always wool, whereas the hidden warp strands can be either wool or cotton. The warp strands are only visible at the ends, where they emerge as the fringe. Whether laying it over furniture or setting it on the floor, a Kilim will add a splash of color to any room.

This tribal Kilim rug is handwoven in Pakistan with all wool on a wool foundation. This rug is new and in excellent condition. Kilims are flat tapestry-woven carpets or rugs produced in many of the countries where hand-knotted rugs are made. Kilims can be purely decorative or can function as prayer rugs and are very popular as floor-coverings.
