For the price, design, feel and ease of installation I gave 5 stars. They do what they are intended to do. Double sided tape did come with the product. The edges will need to be tacked down due to the design and traffic patterns and normal home humidity levels. I anticipate after a few washes the sticky underside will lose its effectiveness. I repainted my wooden basement steps two years ago and bought these stair treads to help muffle sound. I put them down with two sided tape. totally impressed. bought two designs of stair runners and they came quickly. (a disappointment was that one of the boxes was completely mangled and the runner was totally exposed but fortunately not damaged. saw this complaint on other reviews) the runner looks great and was super simple to “install”. i bought a will rug from wayfair at least 10 years ago and it’s unique and different design wise but also has maintained all these years. i would very definitely purchase from wayfair again. must also mention the return of the other set of runners was so easy!. These look nice and definitely help you feel more secure coming down the steps. At night we don’t have a hall light here currently and the help keep me from slipping. They are easy to install and sticky but can be adjusted at least once if you need to adjust them.
