So far I have been using it to wash my husband’s caps and smaller loads that I do not want mixing in with everything else. It has been perfect for that. I like that I can run it at the same time as the main washer. It saves time, especially during busy weeks. The caps come out clean and still keep their shape, which was always a concern before. I have also tossed in delicates and everything has come out fresh. It is simple to use and feels sturdy. I honestly did not think we needed it at first, but now I am glad we have it. I do like the sidekick pedestal washer for small loads and when I spill on an article of clothing that I want to wash immediately. The pedestal is beautiful. But it's small. You can't fit a standard size laundry detergent bottle in it... The laundry hamper is a cool idea, but, nothing else fits in the drawer... So you only can keep an empty laundry hamper in the drawer?? Also mine shipped without an instruction manual (there isn't one online), no screws, and no clips. I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes.
