Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. I’m finishing off a room in my home to use a a bedroom and got this little light puck for the closet as a freebie from the tried and true program. However the electrician said that I should go with a unit that mounts into the wall and sits flush due to the tight space. Since I already had this I replaced a cheap light in my garage. Given the price it seems intended for living spaces though. It even comes with hardware to screw into old can lights. It’s surprisingly bright for its size.
