Only thing that would have made it better would be for the glass to be rounded like a tube tv. Also strange that there are digital-style numbers printed on the face. This clock is freakin' awesome! It's made mostly of metal, the only part that seems to be partally made of plastic is the clock housing. It takes two AA batteries because there are actually two clocks, one on each side of the bike. Came well packaged but no instructions. To install the batteries you have to take off the butterfly nut on the underbelly of the bike. This enables the bike to open up and allows you to release the dual clock.
