Assembly was straightforward, and each stool feels sturdy once put together. The cushions are comfortable for longer seating, and the height is just right. They came in a very heavy box that was packed perfectly to avoid damage. I was afraid that they would be too narrow, but they aren't. They are perfect, and very comfortable. They are so easy to put together that I didn't read the directions. Bad move! Item #3 the height adjusting chamber has a small white cap that must be removed.
