Top was damage, hoping to get some kind of a reimbursement for it. Barbara. Patchogue, NY. Thu Apr 16 2026

A versatile and stylish kitchen island has impact and immediately anchors your cooking space. It sits on a wood base in muted grey finish for an elegant, yet cozy look, while stainless steel top showcases a sleek, modern touch. The kitchen island is accented with towel rack, two drawers and four open storage, serving all your kitchen and dining room needs.

Overall it is a nice kitchen island and is what I was looking for. I was worried that the island might be too big, but it has a nice size and decent working height. The stainless steel top will help provide a hygienic surface when I perform tasks like making sausages. The open shelves will help for storing the fry pans and Dutch ovens that are usually clumsier to put in the cupboards. The side compartments will help for storing the cat food. The kitchen island will be more useful than the kitchen table I never used. The unit ships in two major pieces - the top and the lower part. There are also two smaller counter supports for the overhung section. The top is very heavy. It is bonded to a thick section of wood. Assembly is pretty easy with about 8 fasteners. The stainless steel corners of the top have some grinding marks on it and give the corners a slightly different color. They could have been buffed better but are acceptable. I broke a drawer pull during assembly. They are installed on the inside of the drawer. I did not realize that the pulls had posts that went part of the way into the hole. When removing the pull to put it on the outside. One half of the pull came out and the pull broke. Partially it was my fault but the pulls are flimsy and thin. I managed to order some solid brass pulls, so I recovered. If you order extract the pulls evenly when relocating.. Dave S. Minneapolis. Sat Apr 13 2024

Love it!! Its exactly what I wanted. Assembling it was not hard, just some of the screws wouldnt screw 8n the pre-drilled holes, had to really force them to screw in. But looks great once put together. Im probably going to purchase another one.. Thomasena. Sacramento, CA. Thu Aug 13 2026

For use indoors or out, this ASTM E136 non-combustible mantel shelf was cast from a patented molding material using a found piece of Limestone capturing, to perfection, the nuances and subtle details of this age-old stone. The chiseled front edge springs to life through the artistry of a meticulously hand-painted finish. Made in the USA, this shelf has a 9-inch depth allowing for ample room on top for personal effects. Due to the natural imperfections captured from the Limestone, the top of the mantel shelf will have natural offsets and depressions and the dimensions will vary slightly, i.e. shelf height and depth will be marginally different across the entire mantel. 5”H x 9”D 100lbs. When mounting your mantel, adhere to the “clearances to combustibles” specifications of your fireplace insert or stove.

Beautiful mantel quality as expected worth the price highly recommend. The product quality is super however I did not like the wayfair delivery left the package at the door without double checking the product because this product has marked as non refundable so be careful its better to be there and ask the delivery guys open the box and double check everything. We bought the Diamondback Solid Wood 24" Counter Stool in Mahogany and we LOVE them! I do wish I had bought the 30" inch stools, but hind sight is 20/20, isn't it? You really cannot tell how it would fit without seeing it in person; honestly, it would be helpful if Wayfair put the both sized stools up to the counter in a photo. For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! You will love them too! If you do buy the 24" inch stools, know that they will be easier for your kids to climb into. My SO says that they were a snap to put together, and the company sends extra screws just in case. [please pardon our mess, it's a busy kitchen]. Pamela. New Mexico. Mon Jul 06 2026
