It's really beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The frame is definitely compatible with an adjustable bed because the frame and headboard are attached in the 4 corners, and of course we don't need the Inside support rails/slats. It’s a nice looking bed. We purchased it for a guest bedroom. It was fairly easy to assemble but my husband did have to make a few adjustments. The sides were out of square so he had to adjust the bracket that holds the headboard to the side boards. We also had to add more screws to the rails that hold the slats. For the money, it’s fine.
