Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. I've had this bed for a week now. It was pretty easy to assemble. Most of the parts are pre drilled. The wooden slates aren't predrilled, but they are needed for optimal pillow attachment, so keep that in mind. The pillows are much thinner than expected, and not attached to the headboard.
