It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. Our 2 and 4 year old girls love this bunk bed. It's low enough on the top where they're not scared. There's not much room to sit up on the bottom but that's expected. I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online.
