I have had these a few years now. They are holding up well. They have survived two dogs so far, the current dog being a 104lb all black German Shepard. Our previous dog was a tan Pittie who could be quite rambunctious. They have cleaned well after a few stomach issues from both ends. I have a pad under the rug in the living room. I have to say that it seems to loose more fibers than the others when vacuuming and can get snags. Over all the colors are still pretty and it is nice on bare feet. When we first got them there were some hard fibers that felt like stepping on a needle. They have since gone with wear and vacuuming. This is the most beautiful stunning carpet that I have ever purchased. The colors of blue and black make the room look beautiful! There is one spot on the carpet that is a huge white spot. I thought it was a defect but it actually is part of the 'design' as shown in the photo. I personally didn't like it so I turned the rug so that the end with the spot is in an unseen spot. Other than that, the carpet arrived undamaged and rolled out without any ripples. The carpet is well made and plush.
