Just received these and these paintings, the oversized scale of the larger size is perfect, very colorful and the subjects are actually birds that often visit our yard. Unfortunately, one came with a broken frame and the canvas is pulling out of the back of the frame. The Goldfinch chandelier is a complex geometrical puzzle that is worked one arm at a time. Each of the pieces of wrought iron is forged individually and welded to the frame to create the articulating profile. The statuesque fixture has a washed Lucerne gold finish, which has a slight texture to it because it is splattered on after the chandelier is constructed.
