I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. The shower walls look great! The only thing I don’t like is the corner strips. I wasn’t home when my installer put them in. He said it was very difficult to put them in and it would have been easier to just put a bead of silicone, but he put them in because they came with the kit. I wish he hadn’t put the corner strips in. They make strips make it look more like they are acrylic walls. It would have looked better without them. Also I can’t fit a corner shelf in because of them. Delivery was also an issue. The walls were over a week late which delayed the project. But overall I am happy with the walls. Here's my advice: watch the tile coach's video on this on you tube from 2025 and follow ALL of his direction in addition to reading. It's the absolute best and my process went exactly as he showed it. Definitely get mini's even if your project is bigger. It took me a full hour to apply this mini unit. I can't even imagine trying to do a full unit. The mini's in all the colors were hard for me to find. Wayfair was the ticket and shipped them really fast.
