This was fairly easy to put together, but I do have a lot of experience with this type of furniture with less than optimal directions. The only the problem I had was with getting the drawer slides lined up. I finally got the top drawer to go in and out, but I just can't get the bottom one. This could be due to me tightening all the bolts too early. The directions do say to tighten to seventy per cent, and I think I was too eager to get the thing put together. I could go through it and loosen everything.But i'm just not going to. The 2 drawers together are the same size as a file cabinet. So eventually i'm going to turn the two drawers into one drawer and just slide it in without any slider. Currently, the bottom drawer just slides in.Without dislider, since I removed them and I think it looks fine anyway. The wood is a nice quality and feels very solid. I wish the item came with little.Stickers to cover up where the bolts are but I can find those somewhere else. Overall, I'm really happy with the item and I can't wait for my light beige rug to come to make this item really stand out. It was packaged really well there wasn't a scratch anywhere. This TV stand / cabinet is honestly beautiful and very elegant. The wood tone looks even better in person and gives a modern warm look that fits perfectly in the room. It is also very functional — with a few organizers inside, you can store a surprising amount of stuff and keep everything looking clean and minimal. Why not 5 stars? Mainly two reasons. First, the handles. They are made of hard black plastic and definitely feel cheaper than the rest of the cabinet. In my opinion they don’t match the elegance of the piece at all. I’ll probably replace them in a few days because they look like a “fly on a white wall.” Also, some of them were difficult to align perfectly. Second, the doors/hinges. The hinges on the right door were a nightmare to adjust. The furniture itself only took me around 60 minutes to assemble, but I probably spent almost the same amount of time trying to align the doors properly. Even after adjusting multiple times, they still are not perfectly straight. I eventually lost my patience and will try again later. Overall though, the cabinet looks premium once assembled, feels sturdy, and offers excellent storage. Despite the hinge frustration and cheap handles, I still recommend it because the final look is really impressive. Sorry for the mess in the photos — we just moved in and are still unpacking!. When I saw this beautiful sideboard on sale, I was both excited and skeptical. However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! This easy-to-assemble piece instantly added a classy vintage vibe to my office. With a ton of shelf space, it perfectly marries design and practicality, making it one of my new favorites. My only critique is about the wood and material quality. It works nicely for what it is, but it can be easily scratched or dented, especially during assembly.
