Excellent frying pans that are well constructed.. Craig. Downingtown, PA. Wed May 06 2026

The Alva Artist Carbon Steel Frying Pan Set is hand-hammered, and that is not decoration — the dimpled surface breaks up contact with the food slightly, helping release as the seasoning builds. Both pans arrive pre-seasoned and ready to cook, and carbon steel does what stainless and nonstick cannot do together: it takes real high heat for searing and develops a naturally nonstick patina that improves with every meal rather than wearing out. There is no synthetic coating to scratch or replace, so metal utensils are welcome. Oven safe to 500°F and compatible with every cooktop including induction. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil. Available in 9.5 and 11 inches and as this 2-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

Pre-seasoned and ready to use, it distributes heat and cooks evenly, perfect for frying, simmering, baking, and more. Its balanced handles provide safe grips for easier transport from oven to table. Convenient side spouts help avoid spills when pouring sauces and oils. Season after every use to prevent rust and prolong product life. Handwash recommended. Care and use instructions: Cooking with your cast iron: Heat slowly – Cast Iron retains heat very well, but will absorb heat slowly. Give the pan several minutes to come up to temp. Use pot holders or oven mitts when handling hot cast iron. Cleaning your cast iron: Rinse your pan under warm water and gently scrape off any food remnants with a nonmetal brush or a nylon scouring pad. Thoroughly dry your cast iron and then using a paper towel, apply a light layer of oil around the entire surface of the pan. The pan should be smooth with no oil residue. Place the oiled pan on a burner set to high heat. Once the oil is lightly smoking, turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool.
