This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. It was advertised as “dimmable”, but the bulbs that it can with are Not dimmable. I purchased 3 of the same fan, and will need to buy a longer down rod for the room with a vaulted ceiling.
