This is a great pergola for the price! It was a lot to put together. One of the pieces got dented in the set up process but it’s minor. The louvred top is easy to adjust. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana. Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. Upon receiving all six boxes, which arrived within a two-day span, I was finally able to put this pergola together. You will need at least 2–3 people for assembly, especially when raising and securing the frame. The parts for the frame were easy to assemble. The only step where I needed help was having three people hold the frame upright while I secured everything together. So far, it has held up great, even with the heavy winds in my area. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I didn’t run into any issues during assembly, and all the required parts were included in the boxes—nothing was missing.
