We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. Only one flaw; the plugs are positioned in a way that two phone chargers can't be plugged together. One phone charger and my MacBook's plug can't coexist either, could've easily been solved by separating the outlets a tiny bit. Such a small detail that could've made this bed perfect otherwise. First photo, phone charger barely connects (it's lifted). Second photo, phone charged and MacBook charger can't be plugged together, as you can see the MacBook charger is making a false contact (no power).
