(2) Some of the wood panels of the actual planter box area are thinner than I would have liked. I would not put soil directly in it as I worry about premature rot. Wet cute little planter with its own arbor. The wood is very soft so I wouldn’t expect this to last too may seasons, but if you line the planter box it may add some longevity to it so the wood doesn’t break down. Another option is to just put a plastic planter inside the bottom planter box. This was simple to put together myself since it’s very light.
