Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. This faucet is nice looking and appears to be made fairly well. I would not have paid full price for it though. The one thing that bothers me most is that the hose only extends approximately 2 inches or so when you pull it out. I have a triple sink, so it makes it very hard to use this in the 2 side sinks (which are larger than the middle sink). The sprayer is strong & straight, but the movement (swivel) side to side is limited, as I had to tighten the arm/base screw so that it wouldn't wiggle forward & back so much. It does have a lot of thread (under sink for install) though for extra thick counters, which is what I really needed & can be hard to find. Install was fairly basic with no major issues.. Michelle.
