The metal frame helps keep the cube structured, these are wonderfully compact & sturdy due to the internal support. A bit heavier than products w/o the metal supports but stacked nicely up on a shelf.

These fabric storage boxes are definitely a better buy then the fabric storage bags. What I love about the fabric storage box are the bars inside that hold the fabric in an upright position keeping the fabric from sagging. This makes it so much easier to store items inside the box.. These bins are so convenient for linen organization. I used two of these for storage in the closet of our guest bedroom and they easily fit a full set of the bedding needed when we have an overnight visitor. I was able to get a set of sheets, a comforter and a pillow in each one. The other I used for seasonal clothing storage and it fit a surprising number of sweaters. The quality is excellent. The fabric sides are thick but breathable. The bottom keeps the bin stable and the plastic cover on top is easy to zip up and allows you to view what you have inside the bin. There are also handles on the side and the front for pulling the bin down from a closet shelf, or from under the bed, and carrying it. Our storage bins are more durable than other detachable storage bins with an integrated metal frame and reinforced wood bottom. Store on shelves, closets, garages, basements, attics or under the bed/desk. A great design with a sturdy metal frame that will never fall off no matter how many clothes you put on it. They are easy to assemble. You can store quite a bit of stuff in each box, and they're stackable.
