My husband and I (well, mostly him) put it together ourselves and while it took quite a while (because there's like 8000 pieces to it), the instructions were surprisingly clear. It took a long time for just one person to put together but the functionality is great. Appears to be great for all ages and leaves room for imagination. Our play set has already been a garden, submarine, pirate ship and an alien spaceship. It held up after all those missions! This Swing seat has a round disk shape that is great for sitting and spinning. The rope goes through the hole in the center and supports the swing for great take off. The circle shape allows the swing to go in a circular motion or swing front to back.
