I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. First of all, let me say I always give my honest opinion, when writing a review. So, what can I say about this light It’s very pretty, installed. However, it’s also inexpensively made. That makes it a bummer. My husband installed it regardless of its flimsy metal, along with the bracket that its hung with, also leaves much to be desired. Two tiny screws hold it up! So. I gave it four stars. Which is sad, because it really is pretty. There is a thin wire that encircles the lower half, the wire supports the hanging crystals. That makes me wonder, how long will the wire last I guess I will find out! I have two other gorgeous crystal fixtures that I purchased from Wayfair. They are quality. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Not only did this light take six weeks to arrive, it arrived cracked. I would not have kept it if it arrived in great shape as it was the cheapest made light I’ve ever seen.
