This is a great car seat for my small 17 pound dog. The picture is a bit misleading with the golden retriever puppy as the cover image, but after reading reviews and taking some measurements in my car before I purchased, I'm glad I bought it. I read a review that someone used their seatbelt to secure it more in place along the back which I also did and recommend. I put the seatbelt through the two back bottom loops and extended the seatbelt until it had the safety locking activate to pull tightly in place. It's got great lift in my 2008 Prius so that my lil guy can still poke his head out the window safely and the safety strap holds him in place to hold him back from jumping into the front seat. I have a 7 year old boxer who has never been comfortable going into the pool…I spotted this and am thrilled with the idea of offering her this option. It shipped quickly and with no issues. Once the box is opened I found it wrapped in a great draw string bag which will be good for storage in between seasons. It is a heavy thick material that is definitely designed for dog pawsnails.
