The stairs are not attached but I put anti slip tape on the bottom and it’s working great. My dog is very heavy and rough and he’s making it work. I have a 7 year old boxer who has never been comfortable going into the pool…I spotted this and am thrilled with the idea of offering her this option. It shipped quickly and with no issues. Once the box is opened I found it wrapped in a great draw string bag which will be good for storage in between seasons. It is a heavy thick material that is definitely designed for dog pawsnails.
