The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. With an automatic open baffle plate when the unit is powered on, it will open to a 90-degree angle capturing smoke and fumes before they escape. A large coverage area easily covers all burners on your cooktop guiding smoke upwards and creating a barrier to prevent you from breathing in harmful smoke and grease. An elegant touchscreen control panel with a delay function that lets the hood work for 2 minutes after you are done cooking to ensure all the smoke and odors are removed from your kitchen. There is also a screen lock function that prevents the unit from misoperation while you are cleaning the unit.
