Writing this review a little late, but I was able to assemble this really easy. The bar comes in pieces which you have to screw together. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn’t think it would be sturdy. But after assembling and hanging the rod it is actually very sturdy. I would definitely buy again if I need another curtain rod.. I went with the black Deantrei 1” Sphere curtain rode and they are very nice looking and decent quality. Unfortunately, 2 of mine were bent on the ends and that created a problem with making them appear level. I was able to straiten the ends enough so they are not immediately noticeably uneven.. Ordered the black. My boyfriend installed them with ease at 30 inch width. I used lightweight sheers on the small rod and medium weight 96 inch length curtains on the larger rod. They hold up the curtains with zero sagging. I was concerned because several people reported that the rods were not aligned and caused the front curtains to hang either lower or higher than the back but I did not experience that problem. The only thing I would say is that they do extend pretty far (about 3 inches from the wall) but the dimensions mention that and it appears that it's necessary to accommodate the two rods.
