Although this a thin rug, I recommend that it used indoors only, unless your outdoor space is covered. I rated it a 4 because it is difficult to get the rolled edges to lay down. I think I have purchased over 24 of these chairs. We love them. They hold up great. They can hold up to 350lbs. This makes it nice for our heavier guests. The last two had a defective part. But, no problem. I sent a picture and they are mailing me replacements. I don't think I will every purchase a different outside chair. They are very comfortable and I like the swivel.. Mary.
