Writing this review a little late, but I was able to assemble this really easy. The bar comes in pieces which you have to screw together. I went with the black Deantrei 1” Sphere curtain rode and they are very nice looking and decent quality. Unfortunately, 2 of mine were bent on the ends and that created a problem with making them appear level. I was able to straiten the ends enough so they are not immediately noticeably uneven..
