Very quiet, dynamic controls that allow me to schedule increased capacity while my PV is producing electricity, increasing capacity with internal mixing valve while keeping it in heat pump only mode. The Napoleon grill installation instructions were very easy to follow, even the electrical connections. I like to cook on the grill but I always hade to use a flash light but not with the Napoleon 700 grill. The grilling with the Napoleon grill is much easier with the lighting it has and makes cooking on it much easier when you can see what your cooking. The grill heats up fast and holds the temperature very well. I really like the lighting feature on the burner switches, Blue when a burner is off and red when a burner is on which is a great reminder when burners are still on in case things get busy and you walk away from the grill you can see at a glance a burner is still on. For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. Then there is the metal sheet on the back that has the serial number on it. How hard would it have been to make a copy of that for the owners/instruction manual?. Richard. Marble Falls, TX.
