My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. These dimmable LED bulbs came in a box of 24 so they will last a long time because they have a very long lifespan of 15,000 hours. I can use these indoor or outside. and can be used in a damp area. They are very bright and that has to be taken into consideration if you need a lot of bulbs in one fixture. I needed eight bulbs and that was just too much light.
