I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. I tested out on a Saturday morning and with in bout 4-6 hours we had some ribs and roast smoked. This works great and was easy to regulate the heat. My only issue and by all means this is more of a selfish issue then anything I wish the wood box was bigger. I am in love with this and really love how it smokes. Clean up is easy also. The product was perfect for our needs. The price was very fair and the financing was great. The set up was easy. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity. Additionally, the Icons in the manual were a bit blurry. Other than the I found my experience with this transaction, delivery, financing and the integerity of Wayfair to be great.. John. Ely, NV.
