This is super heavy and assembly was a little tricky. As the manual states, it’s made with real wood so there’s variation in the pieces. Which means some of the pieces will line up a little differently than pictured. It takes some adjusting to get the pieces close to the formation in the picture. I would say the lowest platform is a little too small for jumping down onto from the top. One of my cats fell on the way down and he hasn’t been back to it since ( But it is very pretty. I LOVE this cat tree and actually own 2 of them now. However, they both have a propensity to tip over so I bought landscaping blocks to set on the base to prevent that. It looks tacky but it does the trick. I've owned a lot of cat trees over the years and have learned what my fellas really like are enclosed perches where they can curl up and not worry about falling off. This one has plenty big circular beds at multiple levels which are easy to get up and down from. Even my old guy can get to the top. A lot of times cat trees aren't designed for function like that. This one is. Mine arrived with part of it hanging out of the very large box but thankfully it wasn't damaged. You DO need to screw in the top perch with the 4 screws provided. It was a little challenging lining it up exactly centered but I finally got it after measuring and moving it back and forth multiple times. This is a nice, sturdy, hefty two leveled cat perch with a lot of surface area for big kitties or the ones that like to share space. Nice carpet, not the thin stuff. Supportive pillars. My kitties love it. The threaded end that attaches the top piece to the base was damaged and would not thread in properly.
