We did a total remodel of our shower, and I wanted a door with a clean and modern look. This one is WONDERFUL. Since installation was beyond our capability, I did have a contractor install it. He said that it was easy to install but advised 2 people to complete the task. The door arrived in 4 packages, and all the parts were present. We have hard water, so I especially love that the glass has a special coating to minimize spoting. I like that the door has the ability to be installed to swing inward or outward. We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The 3/8" tempered glass is crystal clear. It makes the entire bathroom feel much larger and more open, which is exactly the "airy" vibe I was going for. Installed this in our shower with an opening of 40 1/2 inches wide. Fit was pretty good had to use a little more silicone on the glass wall section. In my case getting the door to swing without rubbing the bottom water guard was a bit of work. But when all said and done door looks great. Very satisfied, strong and sturdy.
