[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG 360 PuriCare and the 360 PuriCare Single Air Purifier’s due to our apartment being very dusty; allergies were also an issue because we live near a huge beautiful State Park with lots of trees and flowers. However, after using the Air Purifier’s for a few days the dust is virtually gone and the air seems fresher; pollen hasn’t been an issue and cooking odors are quickly dissipated. My neighbors smoke and I am concerned that second hand smoke impacts ones health negatively. Again, since using the LG 360 PuriCare Air Purifier’s I have the air in our apartment is fresher and cleaner. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better.
