I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. This light fixture is beautiful. Its is heavy and very solid. My husband was able to hang it in about an hour by himself (although it would have been easier with 2 people due to the weight). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found my dream chandelier thanks to Generation Lighting and Influenster sending me the Emile Six Light Chandelier complimentary for testing purposes. I now have this beautiful chandelier in Satin Bronze in my dining room. It looks so elegant over my dining table. The size of this fixture is great. It is not too large but still fills a space perfectly at about 30 inches wide. It keeps the space so bright with its six bulbs, but it works great on a dimmer to make things more calm. The instructions had clear pictures and short steps. Unfortunately mine didn’t come with any screws, but I had some on hand. It didn’t take very long to assemble. This chandelier is made really well. Nothing is lose, no noise from the bulbs, and the metal is just substantial enough but not too heavy. The style of the Emile is the perfect balance between contemporary and traditional. It is like an updated version of a classic chandelier with its clean lines but timeless shape. It would work in any space and is compatible with so many different types of decor. I love it..
